Data & Privacy

What happens to the documents I upload?

Your documents are securely stored in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage with private access and encryption at rest. Files are never directly accessible via a public URL. When you view or download a document, it is streamed through our application server, which verifies your identity and ensures you only have access to documents within your organization. Each account's data is isolated through multi-tenancy, meaning your documents are completely separated from other organizations and cannot be accessed by anyone outside your team. Temporary signed URLs are generated only for internal processing (e.g., OCR and document parsing) and expire within 2 hours. All files are encrypted in transit via HTTPS.

Do you train your AI using uploaded data?

No. We do not use any customer-uploaded data for AI training. Your data remains private and is never reused and deleted soon after the upload is finished.

Can I review or edit the AI's results?

Yes. All extracted data is displayed in an easy-to-use Data Table within the app, allowing you to review and make edits before finalizing your work.

How well does the system handle poor-quality or handwritten documents?

Our system has successfully extracted data from extremely poor-quality scanned documents, including cursive handwriting from as far back as 1886. While results may vary depending on the condition of the document, our tools are optimized for historical and difficult records.
